Chinese Herbs, Acupuncture, Paediatric Acupuncture, Holistic Counselling

Inspired by the holistic and interconnected philosophies of Chinese medicine during her time in the USA, Amber delved deep into the field and never looked back. She completed her honours degree in Chinese medicine from Victoria University in 2008, followed by an enriching internship at Shuguan Hospital in Shanghai. She’s been an integral part of the Three Lanterns clinic since its inception.

Beyond her degree in Chinese medicine, Amber achieved a PhD from Monash University in 2014. With an earlier honours degree in Psychology and Philosophy under her belt, she brings a unique interdisciplinary approach to her practice. Her academic endeavours extend to lecturing roles at Torrens University and the Southern School of Natural Therapies. Here, her dedication was recognised with a Learning and Teaching Award. Amber’s passion for the field shines through her contributions to academic papers and her drive to foster collaboration across diverse medical disciplines. Amber has played pivotal roles in advancing TCM practice, notably developing the first mentoring program for practitioners under the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA).

Clinically, Amber adopts a general approach, proficient in both acupuncture and herbs, with a special inclination towards women’s and children’s health. With qualifications in holistic counselling and reiki, her treatments resonate with an added layer of energy and care. Clients find solace in her warm, supportive demeanour, as she strives to align her treatments with their unique health aspirations.
